“Do What
Thou Wilt Shall be the Whole of the Law”: The Satanic Mandate
Date:
5/2/14
“Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law” ("Aleister
Crowley Quotes.") are the infamous words of Aleister Crowley, a Satanist
and a man who called himself “the Beast”. These words, part of Crowley’s “Law
of Thelma”, inspired The Beatles and other Rock bands.
John Lennon said, “The whole Beatles idea was to do what you
want … do what thou wilst, as long as it doesn’t hurt somebody” (John Lennon,
cited by David Sheff, The Playboy Interviews with John Lennon and Yoko Ono, p.
61). The Beatles also included a picture of Crowley on their Sergeant Pepper
album.
A famous rap artist, Jay-Z, is photographed wearing an iconic
T-shirt in a video. The T-shirt says "do what thou wilt" across the
chest ("Jay-Z: A Master…”). This was not an accident. Jay-Z has been known
to include many masonic and occultic symbols and references in his music.
Another famous Rock star, Jimmy Page, of Led Zeppelin fame,
inscribed Aleister Crowley’s Satanic phrase “Do what thou wilt. So mete it Be” in
the vinyl of their Led Zeppelin III album (Motes). Page also claimed that some
of Led Zeppelin’s songs came via “automatic handwriting”, which is an occultic
channeling of demons (Motes).
“...and he must, as a satanist, knowing this, realizing what
his human potential is, eventually, and here is one of the essential points of
satanism, attain his own godhead in accordance with his own potential.
Therefore, each man, each woman is a god, or goddess in satanism.” (Anton
LaVey, Church of Satan) (Stewart)
Satanists and Rock stars, who are also devil-worshippers,
claim that their purpose in life is to do their own will.
What does Jesus Christ (and the Bible) have to say?
Mark 8:34-35
34 And when he had called the
people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come
after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
35 For whosoever will save his life
shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's,
the same shall save it.
Jesus said we need to deny ourselves, take up our crosses,
and follow Him. Jesus also said:
Luke 16:13
13 No servant can serve two
masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will
hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
We cannot serve God and mammon. In other words, we cannot
serve God and serve ourselves. We cannot do God’s will and do our own will. Is
doing our own will denying ourselves, taking up our crosses, and following God?
No! Denying ourselves, etc. is doing God’s will. Doing our own will is to not deny ourselves, etc.
“No servant can serve two masters” is very clear and is
diametrically opposed to the teaching of Satan. “Do what thou wilt” and denying
oneself are both opposites. A personal question: Will you do God’s will or will
you do your own will, which is what
Satan wants you to do?
The Bible says (to Christians):
2 Corinthians 6:14-18
14 Be ye not unequally yoked
together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with
unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ
with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the
temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath
said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they
shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among
them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and
I will receive you.
18 And will be a Father unto you,
and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
1 John 2:15-17 says:
1 John 2:15-17
15 Love not the world, neither the
things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father
is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world,
the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not
of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and
the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
If you are a Christian, God is calling you to repent from
your sin and to not do your own will. God wants you to come out from the world
and to “touch not the unclean thing”. As Christians, we cannot serve God and
serve our own will. The Bible says we must not depend on our own minds (what we
reason or rationalize with):
Romans 8:6-7
6 For to be carnally minded is
death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity
against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
If we follow what we think to be wise (in our own natural
understanding) we will not be depending on God.
Proverbs 14:12
12 There is a way which seemeth
right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
We need to:
James 4:7
7 Submit yourselves therefore to
God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Then, we need to:
Isaiah 55:6-8
6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be
found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he
will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8 For my thoughts are not your
thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
May you seek God with all of your heart (and do not depend on
your own understanding) and God will show you the truth.
Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine
heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.

IF YOU ARE SEEKING TO KNOW GOD, please read this message.
God loves us so much that He sent His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and shed His precious blood to pay for all of these sins (and has risen from the dead).
If you repent (turn away) from your sins (Acts 3:19), and believe and confess aloud that Christ has done this for you (Romans 10:9-10), and have made Him your Lord and Savior (again Romans 10:9-10) you are saved. Now seek God with all your heart. Seek to know Him and you will (Jeremiah 29:13).
John 17:3 says: "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”
God said this in Jeremiah 29:13: “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” (Emphasis added)
