This is a short story about a young man named Steven who was given dreams
from God that reveal truth God has shown me (the writer) that His Church needs
to hear. Though this is written as fiction, the words spoken by Jesus are actual words
that God showed me. So, this is not just a fictional work. It applies to our current
world and to the Church. I encourage you to seek God about this to find out what He
would show you about this story.
PART 1 Excerpt:
Steve, a young man in his early twenties, pulled his blankets over him as he lay in bed. The dim light from a bare light bulb shot through a gap between his basement bedroom door and the concrete floor. His breathing slowed to a restful state and a dream began to form in his mind. An underground base with steel and concrete hallways appeared.
Steve was standing in a steel hallway lined with metal doors that resembled the bulkhead doors in a ship. A lip was raised a couple inches from the floor of each door and all were closed tight. Electric light bulbs, encased in metal cages, hummed and flickered along the hallway. Footsteps were approaching from behind Steve. Turning quickly, he saw a man approaching, ... (Read Part 1 here.)
PART 2 Excerpt:
That night, Steve dreamed again. He found himself standing in the same hallway with the bulkhead doors on either side. The same ceiling light bulbs hummed in their steel cages. Now, as Steve began walking down this hallway, he wondered why it felt very familiar. He had forgotten his previous dream. He tried a door to his left and the handle moved. It was unlocked. Curious, Steve opened it and peered inside.
He found himself staring into a church building sanctuary. At the back of the large room stood a raised platform with a pulpit. A man was standing behind the pulpit and ... (Read Part 2 here.)
PART 3 Excerpt:
With that, Jesus took Steve instantly to another place. The place was full of choking, noxious fumes and barely any light could be seen. A terrible, sulfuric smell reached his nose, like the smell of rotting eggs. Hideous laughter, mixed with shrieks and screams, came from various directions, in front of and behind Steve. The temperature was very hot and oppressive like what one might expect in a volcano.
“Lord Jesus,” Steve said, trembling, “where are you?”
“Where are we?” Steve asked.
A light shone suddenly about Steve and ... (Read Part 3 here.)
PART 9 Excerpt:
...
Instantly, Steve was translated, or quickly moved, to another location. Steve and his Lord were looking down at a city street from a height of twenty feet. School buses, city buses, military trucks, and tanks drove through the streets of an American suburban neighborhood. Armored trucks patrolled the streets while helicopters beat the air, high overhead.
Rumbling forward like hungry lions, several trucks pulled up beside different homes along the street, and soldiers poured out, heading for the front and back doors. Steve focused on a tan, two-story house. Like a SWAT team break-in, several soldiers quickly and cautiously approached the front door, ... (Read Part 9 here.)
PART 10 Excerpt:
Steve was instantly taken to a street in New Orleans surrounding a tall monument, which was illuminated by some base lights. At the top of a large pillar a statue stood with a posture that gave the impression he thought he owned the city. Steve and the Lord hovered about twelve feet above the street. Below them, surrounding the hill on which the monument was built, glow-sticks, flares, cell-phone lights, and flashlights formed a sea of lights surrounding the monument. Crowds of people spread out from the monument and into adjoining streets, going as far as Steve could see. A forest of protest signs swayed back and forth and hopped up and down, among the crowds. People were chanting various slogans, in unison. Some shouted, “Raise our pay!” Others shouted, “Liberty from the Fed!” Another group shouted, “Stop the U.N.!”
Police were among them, arranged in lines. Other police, wearing riot gear, were starting to assemble nearby.
“What is happening here?” Steve asked Jesus.
