Abortion and Why It Is Wrong
Society tells us that abortion is a perfectly acceptable way
to deal with unwanted babies, and people reason that these babies are not fully
human, and so killing them is not murder, but what does the Bible say about abortion?
The word “abortion” does not appear in the Bible, because “abortion”
is the socially-accepted way of identifying the murder of helpless children.
Abortion, of course, simply means a termination, an end to something. In this
case, it is the end of a life that just got started.
Genesis 1:27-28 (bold
added)
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God
said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue
it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air,
and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
We are not like the animals that are created to serve man. We
are not like the angels, which are forbidden to marry and bear children. Men
and women are given the blessing to marry and have children.
Does Satan, mankind’s enemy, want men and women to marry and
raise children, who are created in God’s image? Satan hates God and everything
that is made in God’s image. Satan, as Lucifer, once was the leader of worship
in Heaven*, but Satan got proud and wanted to be worshipped as God. He was not
content with the honor he had received and wanted more. In his rebellion, he
led a third of God’s angels against God. God cast them out of his Holy throne
room, the place where He placed His throne.
12 How art thou fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst
weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine
heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of
God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the
north:
14 I will ascend above the heights
of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down
to hell, to the sides of the pit.
(*Note: See
Ezekiel 28:13-16)
Satan shall be cast into the Lake of Fire after a thousand
years of Jesus Christ’s rule on Earth (the millennium). Revelation 20:10 says, “And the devil that deceived them was
cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet
are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”
Satan Is Seeking to Devour Men and Women
Now, Satan, the devil, is seeking to devour men and women. He
wants people to be deceived and to believe that they can kill and get away with
it. God says, “Thou shalt not kill
[Exodus 20:13].” Satan says, ‘kill because it is more convenient.’
Jesus Christ said Satan “was a murderer from the beginning” (see John 8:44). The devil does not want humans to exist on planet Earth. He hates all men and women because they are made in God’s image. He hates babies, because they a little humans, and like adults, they are made in God’s image (Genesis 1:27).
Can a baby tell his (or her) mother that he loves her once he is born?
Can a baby tell his mother or father how he will benefit them? Can a baby
defend his right to live? Before he takes his first step or says “mommy” or
“dada”, his life is taken from him in a special “clinic”. The doctor, who is originally supposed to
help preserve life, is now taking it, with the parent’s consent.
This same practice
happened in ancient Israel and in ancient countries that worshipped “Baal”, “Ashtaroth, and “Molech.” Molech was the Caananite god of child sacrifice. To worship Molech, people would take their young children, including their firstborn, and burn them alive in a fire before a statue of Molech. God forbid this wicked practice.

Leviticus 18:21
21 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech,
neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord.
God further says through Moses that a person who kills his
children in sacrifice to Molech shall be put to death:
Leviticus 20:2
2 Again, thou shalt say to the
children of Israel, Whosoever he be of
the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech;
he shall surely be put to death: the
people of the land shall stone him with stones.
God through the prophet Jeremiah said:
Jeremiah 32:35
35 And they built the high places
of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto
Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they
should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
God (Jesus Christ) also deals with this topic in the New
Testament.
Matthew 5:21-22
21 Ye have heard that it was said
of them of old time, Thou shalt not
kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a
cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his
brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
Jesus Christ Forbids It
Jesus Christ is now making it clear that if a person hates
someone, then that person is in danger of God’s judgment and hell fire. One is
in danger of judgment for hatred because hatred is like murder, in God’s Holy eyes.
1 John 3:15 says, "Whosoever hateth his brother is a
murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him."
There will be a day of judgment in which all people will
stand before God. Each person will be judged according to what he (or she) did
through his (or her) life. God is no respecter of persons. He cannot be bribed.
He is Holy and will judge with righteous judgment.
If you repent from sin and believe in what Jesus Christ did
at the cross to pay for your sins, you will be given forgiveness and given
eternal life. If you refuse to repent
from sin and make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior, you will be judged
according to your actions, beliefs, choices, and words. If your name is not in
the book of life, you will not enter Heaven where God’s Holy City is. You will
be cast into the place prepared for the devil and his fallen angels*.
Revelation 20:12-15
12 And I saw the dead, small and
great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was
opened, which is the book of life: and
the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books,
according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead
which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:
and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second
death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into
the lake of fire.
(*Note: See
Matthew 25:41-45.)
Don’t let this happen to you. Turn to Jesus Christ for
salvation and repent from your sin.
If you are considering having an abortion, you can put up
your child for adoption. You do not have to do what your peers, your doctor(s),
your teachers, or family tells you to do. There are many people who do not have
(or are unable to have) children who would like to have children. There are
also organizations which can help young women in trouble.

IF YOU ARE SEEKING TO KNOW GOD, please read this message.
God loves us so much that He sent
His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and shed His precious
blood to pay for all of these sins.
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short
of the glory of God;
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but
the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
If you repent (turn away) from your
sins (Acts 3:19), and believe and confess aloud that Christ has done this for
you (Romans 10:9-10), and have made Him your Lord and Savior (again Romans
10:9-10) you are saved. Now seek God with all your heart. Seek to know Him and
you will (Jeremiah 29:13).
John 17:3
And this is life eternal, that they
might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Jeremiah 29:13
And ye shall seek me, and find me,
when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
