HURRICANE MARIA - A STORM OF THE CENTURY
Hurricane Maria is striking Puerto Rico right now (Sept. 20, 2017). The people there will likely experience great destruction of their homes, businesses, church buildings, and livelihoods. I encourage you to pray for them and seek God about this storm.
I believe God is allowing it to strike the Caribbean region, after Hurricane Irma plowed through, as a sign of judgment to come in the near future. God is pleading with people to turn to Him for salvation and to make Him their solid fortress against the "storms" of (the spiritual realm called) Hell and (the problem of) sin.
Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. There is no other one we can call on to be saved from the storm of sin and damnation in Hell. The Bible says that we have all sinned and that none is righteous.
Romans 3:23 says: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" [End quote].
Only Jesus can save us.
In the Bible book of Acts, chapter 4, verses 10-12, Peter said:
"[10] Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
[11] This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
[12] Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." [End quote].
Turn to Jesus Christ for salvation before the storm of judgment (which will not just be a natural storm) will strike this world and affect everyone in it. (See the book of Revelation. Click here.)

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW GOD and be saved, please read this message.
1 Timothy 2:5: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”
Acts 4:12: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
Ephesians 2:8-9: “[8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Proverbs 28:13-14
“[13] He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
[14] Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.”

God loves us so much that He sent His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and shed His precious blood to pay for all of these sins (Romans 5 and John 3:14-20). It is not by any works of ours that we are saved (Ephesians 2:8-9). (See John 3:16; and 1 Corinthians 15:3-5; and Romans 5:8-11.)
If You Want to Be Born-Again and Be Saved by Jesus Christ:
1) Be willing to forsake any sin that God convicts you about (Acts 3:19) and ask God to forgive you. Believe in Jesus Christ that He died to pay for all your sins with His blood and rose from the dead as the Bible says (1 Cor. 15:3-4). Confess your belief in this (Romans 10:9-10). Ask for Jesus Christ to be your Savior and Lord.
If you want God to save you through Jesus Christ, and you have trusted only in Jesus to save you, then you are born-again and are truly saved. (John 6:37).
In John 6:37 Jesus says: "[37] All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."
Please pay attention to the last part of this verse: "...and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." (If you come to Jesus, He will not cast you out.)

2) Now that you are saved, turn to God with all your heart and seek Him, seeking to have an intimate relationship with God. Our loving Abba God wants you to know Him deeply because He made us in His likeness (Genesis 1:27, John 17:3, Jeremiah 31:3). Seek Abba God in prayer and in reading the Bible. You will hear His Spirit speak to you as you seek Him and wait on Him. (Jeremiah 29:13, John 16:13, Isaiah 40:31).
Isaiah 40:31 says: "[31] But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

3) And, now that you are saved, deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow God to have fellowship with Abba God. Denying what we want and seeking what God wants (God's will) is truly fulfilling and meaningful. Taking up one's cross and being willing to suffer for the sake of Jesus Christ brings in God's peace (2 Corinthians 1:2-3). Obeying God and following where He leads is a joy because He is always, always with us. (Matthew 16:24, Hebrews 13:5, 2 Corinthians 1:2-3).
Repenting After You Are Saved
Again, remember to repent whenever you are convicted about sin so that you can grow closer to Jesus Christ as you seek Him (1 John 1:9, Proverbs 28:13-14). Please also remember, you are not saved by works but by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Repentance is necessary for walking with God and getting close to Him. Willfully refusing to repent (when God convicts you about sin) is hardness of heart (see Hebrews 3).
John 17:3: "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”
Jeremiah 29:13: “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
John 14:6: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Acts 4:12: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
