BATMAN – Prince of Darkness
The Batman franchise had its beginning in 1939 when Bob Kane came up with what he called "the Bat-Man." This character and the Batman franchise has impacted the globe and has raked in many billions of dollars of retail and movie ticket sales. Children around the world enjoy playing with Batman toys, reading Batman comics, and watching Batman cartoons and movies. But, are the Batman character and his adventures innocent entertainment? Or, do they bring across a dark message?
Let's look at the Batman character. Interestingly, Dennis O'Neil (a writer and former editor of DC Comics) said: "His [Batman's] iconography is that of a demon." (See "The Replacement..." in Works Cited | 52:00).

According to The Steranko History of Comics by Jim Steranko:
Kane's original artwork of a man with bat-like wings strangely resembles bizarre sightings of a mysterious, bat-like, humanoid creature, which were seen years later. But, unlike Kane's original "Bat-Man," these winged creatures were entirely black in color.

In 1986,
Frank Shaw, an archivist who worked at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, in Houston,
had just finished work and was walking toward his car one night. He noticed
something on the roof of a nearby building. It was a large, man-like figure
that was entirely “black in color” (See “Redfern”
in Works Cited). It wore a cape and it had two “wing-like appendages sticking
out of the cape.” (Redfern). Frank Shaw was terrified as he beheld the creature perched on a roof and noticed that it seemed to get pleasure in seeing his fear. He hurried to
his car and drove off.
Later, he
told his “immediate superior” at NASA about his sighting of the creature. His boss
was aware of a hideous creature lurking in “more shadowy parts of the Johnson
Space Center.” (Redfern). A secret file had been opened some months earlier,
Frank Shaw had learned. In the file, it was reported that two German shepherds
were dead and had been drained of blood. They were found in an area where the
winged creature had been seen (Redfern).
Desiree
Shaw, Frank’s daughter, had spoken of the strange events after her father had
passed away. Frank had been given a “strong suggestion” not to speak of the
events further (Redfern). That is why the Shaw family had kept the events fairly secret for so long.
The Houston "Bat-man"
In June 18, 1953, Hilda Walker, a "23-year-old housewife", and her neighbors Judy Meyer, a 14-year-old, and Howard Phillips, a 33-year old tool plant inspector, were sitting on the porch of Hilda's home, in the city of Houston (Redfern). Hilda told the press these words: "... 25 feet away I saw a huge shadow across the lawn. I thought at first it was the magnified reflection of a big moth caught in the nearby street light. Then, the shadow seemed to bounce upward into a pecan tree. We all looked up. That's when I saw it." (Redfern).
Once the creature vanished, they all observed a flash of light that "[took] off like a jet". (Redfern).
Howard Phillips said: "I can hardly believe it. But I saw it...we looked across the street and saw a flash of light rise from another tree and take off like a jet." (Redfern).
Speaking of the strange object, Hilda Walker said: "It was like the white flash of a torpedo-shaped object... I may be nuts, but I saw it, whatever it was..." (Redfern). Hilda compared it to the phenomena of UFO sightings (Redfern).
"Mothman" Sightings / The Mothman Resembles the Bat-man
Sightings of "Bat-Men" bring to mind the wave of sightings of a strange creature called the "Mothman." One particular story of seeing a "Mothman" is notable. On November 15, 1966, at 11:30 P.M. (Keel), Roger and Linda Scarberry, and Steve and Mary Mallette were driving in the Scarberrys’ 1957 Chevy (Keel) past a TNT plant in West Virginia (See "Radford" in Works Cited). A large, strange creature, which was about "7 feet tall," stood at the side of the road. They described it as being "grayish in color" (Keel) and having a "bird-like," human-like appearance with large wings and "fiery red eyes." The wings were folded back and Linda Scarberry noticed that its legs were human-like (Keel) and had visible muscles (Radford).
The first of a large number of sightings of "Mothmen" took place when five grave diggers claimed to have seen a man flying directly above them (Radford). After those first sightings in 1966, many others followed. Many reports described a "monster" that could lift up into the air "like a helicopter." It was said to have "hypnotic red eyes" and the "wings of a bat" (Radford). At least a hundred reports were made of "Mothmen" sightings from people of all ages in the Point Pleasant area during the period of a year or so (from the time between November 1966 and December 1967) (Radford).
Strange Creatures, Aliens, Demons, Fairies
These unnatural, strange sightings of bat-like humanoid creatures resemble the numerous sightings of "alien" beings, which many people have claimed to have seen over the years. Speaking of the UFO and alien-sighting phenomena, Jacques Vallee, a well known UFO researcher, speaker, and author, wrote this statement in his book Passport to Magonia:
"What we have here is a complete theory of contact between our race and another race, non-human, different in physical nature, but biologically compatible with us. Angels, demons, fairies, creatures from heaven, hell, or Magonia: they inspire our strangest dreams, shape our destinies, steal our desires......
But who are they?" [End quote] (Vallee).
What then are "aliens," fairies, or strange creatures, such as the Houston "Bat-Man"? Vallee, after years of tedious research into historical and modern sightings of these beings, concluded that fairies, demons, and other creatures are of the same nature. Vallee said he researched strange cases of human and "fairy" interaction, going back to the Middle Ages, in the Vatican archives.
He said it required learning Latin to understand the old accounts (Vallee). Jacques Vallee said that the cases of humans and "fairies" having intercourse with each other are of the same nature as modern cases of "aliens" and humans having intercourse. He also tied in demonic manifestations with "fairy" and UFO appearances, due to similarities in how the otherworldly creatures treated humans (i.e. having intercourse). (Vallee).
So, what really are these strange creatures? God's Holy Word, the Bible, speaks of them as being deceivers, and having the ability to appear in various forms. In one form, Satan appears as a dragon. In another form, Satan can appear as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:13-15), even though he is truly the prince of darkness.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 says this:
"[13] For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. [14] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. [15] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."
The Poison of the Serpent
Satan and his snares (movies, Rock and similar music styles, TV shows, certain children's toys, video games, etc.) can appear appealing to people to draw them into his deceptive talons. He can make his snares and forms of entertainment seem very attractive and even appear "harmless," but all of Satan's works are full of poison and eventually bring about destruction to those who are deceived by them, and who follow the course that Satan has laid through his devices.

Romans 6:23 says: "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
1 Peter 5:8-9 says: "[8] Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: [9] Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world."
James 4:7-8 says: "[7] Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. [8] Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded."
2 Corinthians 2:11 says: "Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices."
Ephesians 6:10-12 says: "[10] Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. [11] Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. [12] For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

As an example of the devilish nature of the Batman character, we can look at just one issue of the Batman comic.

In Batman Volume 666, "Batman in Bethlehem", Batman mentions how he made a deal with the devil. According to "The Replacement gODs" [sic] documentary, this 666th issue of the Batman comic depicts occult imagery (such as pentagrams) and sorcerers, and it mentions how Batman made a "bargain" with the Satan, "the old dragon", or "sold" his soul to the devil (ibid | 53:00).
According to dc.wikia.com, Batman Volume 666, titled "Batman in Bethlehem", involves an "Anti-Christ" character who is seeking to bring in "Armageddon." Later, the new Batman character, named Damian Wayne, who is the son of Bruce Wayne, violently kills the "Anti-Christ" character. The dc.wikia.com article also stated that Damian Wayne, the Batman character, had sold his soul to Satan.
The front cover of the comic book shows Batman standing in front of a burning "Hotel Bethlehem". The narrator of "The Replacement gODs" documentary noted how Jesus Christ was born in a manger near an inn (i.e. "hotel"), in the town of Bethlehem, in the land of Israel. The symbolism of Batman standing in front of the burning "Hotel Bethlehem" shows Satan's hatred of Jesus Christ.

Conclusion
If you are a parent or a guardian, please take time to seek God about this article and about your children's toys, TV shows, movies, video games, and other forms of amusement. These things are not innocent if they are related to magic powers, shape-shifting, TV shows, Hollywood movies, zombies, mutants, aliens, monsters, giants, fairy tales, or other similar themes. What you allow a child to play with, read, or watch will affect them spiritually. And, God will hold all parents and all people accountable for their ungodly or uncaring actions, words, and thoughts that have not been put into God's hands and repented of. Letting your young children partake in things that you know are wrong is harmful to both them and you.
Romans 14:11-12 says:
"[11] For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
[12] So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God."
2 Corinthians 5:10 says: "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."
If we Christians recognize our shortcomings, confess them to God, and repent, we will be forgiven. God will then bless us and heal our families. God wants families to be healed and made whole. Children need parents who truly care for them and who are willing to spend quality time with them.
Worldly TV shows, comics, video games, and other forms of entertainment will only spiritually harm children and negatively impacted them because that is what the "god [ruler] of this world", the devil, desires to do to the human race. Will we let this happen to our children if we can help it?
