Chapter 6

The Mediterranean Sea. South of France. 2038 A.D. {Francois Israel}

Francois Israel and his dad, Judah, were sitting in Francois’s cabin aboard the “Rossignol,” a large, French purse seiner fishing ship. Francois had just overheard some startling information muttered by a crewman of the “Rossignol.” He knew he must share it with his dad.

Francois said: “When the red-haired sailor was walking down the hallway outside this cabin, he said some things, but I listened very closely, and I distinctly heard him say something very disturbing. He said, ‘Once we reach the middle mark, these ignorant Christians will bring me a good deal of money.’”

Francois paused, then said, “Dad, what do you make of that?”

Chapter 5

Judah Israel’s House. France. 2038 A.D. {Francois Israel}

A silver-colored, German-made Volkswagen sedan turned onto a gravel driveway that led up to Judah Israel’s small house in rural France. A hectare (or 2.471 acres) of maple and beech trees surrounded the house, providing privacy from the road.

Once the car came to a stop before the house, the driver’s door opened and a medium-sized Frenchman stepped out. Dressed in a green polo shirt and black trousers, Nicolas Lagarde stretched and then reached into the car to draw out a zippered book case. A cross appeared on its leathery surface. This showed Christians that he ‘must be’ one of them. But, his choice of hair and beard styles were a little strange to many believers he had met. Nicolas had shaved off all his blond hair and he wore a 4-cm-long goatee, which he had dyed black.

Chapter 4

A NATO Military Base. Germany. 2034 A.D.

A blinding flash of very bright light suddenly filled the sky. It was followed by a powerful concussion wave which struck buildings, turning them into billions of flying particles in an instant. The explosion was heard for many, many miles. A column of hot gas and radioactive dust ascended high into the air above the ruins of a NATO military base in Germany. This pillar of destruction could be seen for many miles as it continued its ascent into the air.

All over Europe, this scene was repeated in certain areas targeted by Russian nukes.

Minutes after Russia had deployed thousands of powerful nukes toward America, more Russian nukes were fired toward NATO bases in Europe. But, these warheads

-- fired at European bases -- had smaller nuclear yields and did not instantly obliterate whole populations of civilians like the ones fired at America did.

Chapter 3

Carpathian Mountains. Romania. 2038 A.D. {Matthew Jeremiah}

Pine needles and dried twigs crunched underneath Matthew Jeremiah’s boots as he walked under tall conifers in a large, Romanian pine forest. He had just been on a mile hike through the woods to get some exercise and see more of the layout of the land. And, now, he was returning back to the camp where he, his friends, and a number of Roma people were staying.

The Roma, who had suffered from being insulted and mistreated by European society, had fled into remote parts of Europe as communists had dispossessed them of their land. These poor, mistreated and hurting people had come to the sanctuary of the Carpathian forest. They sought out a place where they could try to survive without having to rely on the communists, who despised them. Some underground Christians joined them, due to an act of God.

Though things contained in this story / word of God are strange sounding, they are very realistic and true. Prophecies never make sense to the carnal mind because the carnal mind is at war with God, as Romans chapter 8 says. Take the book of Revelation, for instance. The beginning of the book of Revelation says:

“[1] The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: [2] Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. [3] Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.”

And, yet, the prophecies contained in the holy book of Revelation don’t make sense to the carnal mind. Romans 8:5-7 says:

“[5] For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. [6] For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. [7] Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.”

Chapter 1

The Outskirts of Paris, France. 2038 A.D. {Matthew Jeremiah}

[Note: All the dates and years in this story / documentary / message from God are fictional. The timing of these events could be much sooner than 2034 or 2038 A.D.]

A Caucasian man stepped out of a house in the outskirts of Paris, France. Turning his head left and then right, Matthew Jeremiah, a 42-year-old American, stepped onto a sidewalk, leaving the house behind. He was of average height and build, and had brown, 3-cm-long hair and a short beard.

Even though he felt like increasing his pace, Matthew made himself walk unhurriedly down the street, distancing himself from the house where he had just met with a handful of underground Christians. Forty minutes later, his wife Sarah would leave the house. Then, another friend of theirs would follow after more time had elapsed.

As he walked, high-tech surveillance cameras monitored his every move. Biometric software and databases of information collected on him enabled supercomputers to identify him as he moved about. They could also “predict” his next actions with 65 percent accuracy. Thanks to God’s protection, he had avoided being caught and sent to a concentration camp.
