Witchcraft in The Chronicles of Narnia

The Chronicles of Narnia stories are still popular today after their beginning in the 1950s. They have been made into several popular Hollywood films. Many Christians have embraced the books and treasured them along with other writings of C.S. Lewis. But, what is the reason for their continuing popularity? Could it be that they are more than just novels for entertainment?

The late David J. Meyer, a former witch, became a believer in Jesus Christ and left witchcraft. He then exposed the real witchcraft in some popular books for children and adults. David J. Meyer wrote:

As a former witch, astrologer, and occultist who has been saved by the grace of God, I know that the works of C.S. Lewis are required reading by neophyte witches, especially in the United States and England. This includes The Chronicles of Narnia, because it teaches neophyte, or new witches, the basic mindset of the craft. Isn’t it strange, though, that many “Christian” churches and organizations have used The Chronicles of Narnia as Sunday School curriculum?” [End quote] (Meyer, David J. “The Witchcraft of the Narnia Chronicles.” lasttrumpetministries.org.) (Emphasis added)

{Note: A neophyte is a beginner witch.}

Let’s consider what David J. Meyer said about Narnia.

STAR WARS CONTRADICTS THE BIBLE AND IS ANTI-CHRIST

STAR WARS IS ANTI-CHRIST

(The Devil's Tool to Steal the Hearts of Christians)

||  STAR WARS CONTRADICTS
THE BIBLE AND IS ANTI-CHRIST  ||

Released to the world in 1977, Star Wars became a powerful phenomenon which drew millions of people into its profound influence. But, its power to captivate the minds, imaginations, and hearts of countless millions of people is not something that can be lightly ignored. Christians need to be aware of the messages and themes in Star Wars, especially since the Bible warned us about deceivers and evil people who would conduct amazing signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, God's people.

The darkness in our world is increasing. We must be vigilant, as Christians, to watch and pray ... that is we need to know what God would show us personally and to pray as God leads us by His Holy Spirit. In the dark waters of this world, we need God's Holy Spirit and His Holy Bible to guide us when we consider the popular things in our culture and world.

Star Wars Exposed - Necromancy Exposed in Star Wars

Star Wars Exposed - Necromancy Exposed in Star Wars

In the best-selling books and movies of the last 40 years (or so), Star Wars is near the top. It has become a global phenomenon and now Disney has gotten its hands into the franchise. We are seeing more and more people eager to purchase Star Wars toys, games, books, and movies for themselves and their children. But, does Star Wars promote the occult? Does it promote sorcery? Jedi knights don’t wear pointy hats or hold magic wands, but are they sorcerers?

In the Star Wars films we see a few times when either Obi Wan or Yoda (or or other deceased Jedi) return in a semi-transparent, ghostly form. In The Clone Wars (a Cartoon Network show), Anakin Skywalker speaks with Qui Gon Jinn’s ‘ghost.’ At another time, Obi Wan speaks with the same Qui Gon ‘ghost.’ (Note: I don’t watch Star Wars films or videos anymore. I just found the video clips of this ghostly interaction by internet search.)

In the original Star Wars films, Obi Wan’s ghost appeared to Luke Skywalker, and counseled him. Is this necromancy? Dictionary.com defines necromancy as: “a method of divination through alleged communication with the dead; black art.” [B.]

The practice of speaking with the “dead” is called necromancy, when seeking wisdom or knowledge by occult means. This is a type of divination. God forbids divination, necromancy, wizardry, and magic in Deuteronomy 18.

Deuteronomy 18:9-13

“[9] When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. [10] There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass
through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. [11] Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

[12] For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee. [13] Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God.”

The belief that the spirits of dead people remain on earth is a pagan and occult idea. (To learn more about what these spirits are, click here.) The Bible says:

Exposing Ben 10: The Deception in Kid's Cartoons

Ben 10 and Other Kid's Cartoons Exposed

In a world of animated creatures, "epic" battles, and "sci-fi" drama, we find our kids' imaginations drawn into the surreal, make-believe world of TV cartoons. One in particular has grown to such popularity that it has existed for over a decade (12 years since 2005) and has gained fans around the world. Its franchise has gained billions of dollars in sales worldwide. This popular cartoon show airing on Cartoon Network is Ben 10.

The show is not the only popular aspect about this franchise. Ben 10 toys are very popular with many children, even breaking sales records [1]. The Ben 10 franchise gained over $4.5 billion dollars in retail sales worldwide [2].

So, why should this cartoon be concerning? If you are a parent, you need to know what your children are watching and what the TV is teaching them. If you happen to enjoy cartoon shows yourself, I ask you to stay with me and take a few minutes to read the article below. Cartoons and TV shows do affect what we believe about the world in which we live, and what we consider to be morally right or wrong.

In the Ben 10 universe and in other cartoon shows (such as Dragon Ball Z, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon), aliens, magic powers, spells, shape-shifting, levitation, astral projection, channeling power, clairvoyance, telepathy, talismans, and magic amulets are promoted and used to drive the plots forward. All these items are themes and objects found in books on the occult and sorcery that real witches and warlocks claim to work with.

In the Ben 10 universe, Ben Tennyson, the "hero," has a special band (the "Omnitrix") attacked to his arm which gives him special powers to shape-shift or morph into alien entities of various types.

The basic plot of Ben 10

At age 10, Ben Tennyson and his cousin Gwen (age 10) go on a summer camping trip with their Grandpa Max Tennyson. In a grove of trees, Ben finds a strange capsule and a watch-like device, called the Omnitrix. To his surprise, it attaches itself to his wrist somehow. This magical device happens to belong to alien entities. One alien entity in particular, called Vilgax, wants to take this device for himself. He is the main villain in this cartoon. Ben finds that his Omnitrix arm band can trans-morph (or shape-shift) him into various alien creatures. With these magical powers, Ben fights against "evil" aliens and evil people [3].

His cousin Gwen has access to a magic spell book and uses magical powers and spells throughout the Ben 10 seasons. Gwen stole this magic spell book from a character called "Charmcaster."

Star Wars is an Abomination to God

Star Wars is an Abomination to God

It started back in the '70s when George Lucas began writing his first Star Wars movie screenplay. Released on May 25, 1977, the first Star Wars movie was a blockbuster and every one since then has followed in its fame (3.). “Darth Vader”, the main villain of Star Wars; “Evil empire”; and “May the Force be with you” all entered the English lexicon (1.).

All six Star Wars movies by George Lucas earned a gross total of $4.277 billion at the box office (4.). This is not counting the DVD sales or DVD rentals. People bought $12 billion worth of Star Wars toys from Hasbro, Kenner, and other toy companies from 1978 to 2011 (4.). By 2011, all 130 Star Wars video games scooped up $2.9 billion in revenue (4.). Random House has earned $200 million in the sales of the first Star Wars book alone (4.). So, why are we looking at all these statistics?

A lot of the money going into the Star Wars franchise comes from Christian homes. A lot of people have become obsessed with Star Wars. Many boys and girls (and many adults) around the world have Star Wars books, toys, action figures, movies, and an obsession with the Star Wars universe.

Kids love pretending they are using “the Force” to battle “evil”, whether they are playing with toy light sabers or with toy figurines. Older kids and adults enjoy the Star Wars books that display Force jumps, Force moves, Force battles, and levitating objects by the Force. The books are very captivating and draw the reader into a mystical world of Jedi knights, Sith lords, and Force powers.

Real Witches Use “the Force”

Christian parents and caring parents should be concerned about what their kids watch, read, and play. Star Wars is not just for entertainment. It has an agenda: a “new-age” agenda. To understand this agenda, we need to grasp this basic truth revealed by a former witch (or warlock), who became a Christian.

(Gandalf vs. Saruman. Photo: Click for source)
David J. Meyer, a former witch (or warlock), said:

‘When real witches have sabats and esbats and meet as a coven, they greet each other by saying "Blessed be", and when they part, they say "The Force be with you." Both sides of this "Force" are Satan. It is not a good side of the force that overcomes the bad side of the force, but rather it’s the blood of Jesus Christ that destroys both supposed sides of the satanic "Force."’ (Meyer) (Emphasis added)

(Yoda using "the Force". Source.)
Likewise, in Star Wars, “the Force” has a “dark side” and a “light side”. Luke Skywalker uses the “good side” of the Force to battle Darth Vader who uses the “dark side” of the Force. “White” witches use what they call “white magic” and wizards in the dark arts use “black magic”.
Magic (“magick” which includes “the Force”) is sorcery and witchcraft. The Bible has this to say about such practices…
