Abortion is an Abomination (abortion in the Bible)

Abortion is an Abomination

Abortion is a topic that can never go away and it must never go away while babies are being murdered.

The Bible clearly teaches that "Thou shalt not kill" (Exodus 20:13).

Jesus Christ affirmed this and made it stronger. In Matthew 19:18-19, Jesus Christ (God's Only Begotten Son) repeated the Ten Commandments:

18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Jesus never made it okay to break the Ten Commandments. He warned about what would happen to the person who "shall offend one of these little ones".

Mark 9:42-44

42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

God is very serious about obedience and righteousness. We cannot be righteous without the blood of Jesus Christ covering our sins. And when we are saved from sin, we cannot expect to continue in sin and still love Jesus. We cannot serve two masters.

Luke 16:13 says, “No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

We cannot serve God and mammon (money or an object of worship or devotion). Serving mammon is serving oneself and killing an innocent baby is playing god and exalting oneself above God. This is rebellion and pride.

James 4:5-10

5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

God will reward those who humble themselves and repent and seek His will. God is not willing that any should perish.

2 Peter 3:9 says, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

IF YOU ARE SEEKING TO KNOW GOD, please read this message.

God loves us so much that He sent His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and shed His precious blood to pay for all of these sins.

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

If you repent (turn away) from your sins (Acts 3:19), and believe and confess aloud that Christ has done this for you (Romans 10:9-10), and have made Him your Lord and Savior (again Romans 10:9-10) you are saved. Now seek God with all your heart. Seek to know Him and you will (Jeremiah 29:13).

John 17:3
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Jeremiah 29:13
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
