How America Now Resembles the Aztec Empire
There were
different factors that brought about the end of the Aztec Empire. The foremost
factor was their bloodshed culture. Thousands of innocent victims were murdered
in human-sacrifice rituals to honor the gods of the Aztecs. Consequently, tribes
which had lost family members to the murderous Aztec religion were willing to
assist Hernán Cortés in fighting their oppressive overlords. With the
assistance of the disgruntled native people, Cortés was able to bring a quick
end to the Aztec Empire.
In this
article, we will see how America is following, to some degree, in the footsteps
of the Aztecs. That may sound very strange to you, but please bear with me as
