(A.) 1 Corinthians 3:19-20 says: " For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain."
(B.) 1 Corinthians 9:18-23 does not justify sin or conforming to the world to bring people into God's Kingdom. Romans 6:15-16 says: " What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"
(C.) Psalm 96:1 speaks of singing a new song to God. It does not justify worldly music.
(D.) 2 Peter 3:9 which speaks of God's desire that all men might be saved does not say all will be saved. Romans 10:13 says "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." The people who call on the Name of Jesus Christ will be saved. Acts 4:12 says: "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
(E.) Psalm 10:7, Romans 16:18, and Psalm 144:11 all speak of deceivers.
(F.) 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 teaches to separate from the world and from its ungodly ways.
2 Corinthians 6:14-15 says: " Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?"
(G.) 1 John 2:15-17 says: " Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever."
